Picking the right size compressor?????

I want a new compressor and am having a hard time deciding on what size to get... In one aspect I think a portable 5-6hp, 30 gal tank will be fine, but then for another $100 I could get a 7hp, 60 gal that stays in place and anchored to the floor. It will be feeding 7 drops in a oversized three car garage AND a 30' x 24' basement wood shop. Tools that I use regularly are pnuematic nailers, air brush/paint spray gun, and an occasional impact wrench or ratchet. I doubt if I will end up getting pnuematic sanders as they require the most cfm and I already have plenty of electric versions.

The budget is $300-400, so what would you do??????

Contact W W Grainger...they should be able to help you with your needs. I am a Quincy distributor, but can't get anything for you for that budget. Campbell Hosfield and Curtis Toledo are a couple brands that have good long lives for their value. Craftsman aren't bad either. I'm assuming your in need of a 110 VAC unit...most of what I sell are 220.
