i went to autozone in search of picking some up.

i got a washmitt for the wheels
clay magik
the michelin tire/wheel cleaner, the brake dust repellent, and the dressing
and zwipes microfiber automotive drying towel. looks sorta like a waffle weave but feels different. has anyone used this towel before? ill post the same type of review that guy made concerning the michelin wheel/tire treatment

Yes. I have the Michelin tire /wheel cleaner sitting on my shelf. I plan to use on my tires some time. A quick test with a pH strip confirmed a pH of 7.

I went out on a limb and bought the Z Wipes ww mf. I washed it first before use and tried it on the family beater car. Wow, dried the entire car without ever having to wring it. I looked out for marring, didn't appear there were any in a pinch ( also the finish is a lot closer to " typical every day driver" condition) but I'm not going to conclude indeed it doesn't mar until after I try it again. The drying ability is really great!

heres a pic of the products

the wash mitt isnt sheepskin. its actually some other type of material looks like wool sorta! i plan to use it for the wheels, if u guys think its no good

thw zwipes actually says "hemmed edge may scratch delicate surfaces"

I have seen that mitt and many other identical looking ones under different brands. It's a synthtic material milled to resemble sheepskin or more accurately, electrified wool, like you would see as a wool cutting pad for the rotary. I kinda  when I see it in the stores. I wouldn't take chances with it on the finish. Wheels, may be. It might be best suited for washing the undercarriage.

I'd stick with the sheepskin or guaranteed 100% cotton chenille mitts.

Yeah, I saw that warning on the Z Wipes too. Kinda makes you think :doh , so why make that kind of hem in the first place!? :nono

Any way, when you use it, fold it into a pad making sure the hem is tucked away from the finish.

Also, do not drag it across the finish, how I'm implying from the picture ion the packahing. Witrh it folded into a pad, blot dry only. It does a good job this safer way.
