No need to apologize, I asked! I'll have to disagree though since I'm happy with it. But how about your suggestion on what would make silver pop better and not look dull to you?
Dunno what 'freedre' is looking at - certainly doesn't look dull!
My car is a similar color. Today I used VMW and topped with P21S - lovely combo IMO. Car looks like it's been dipped in olive oil. Also, NXT looks very nice on silvers/greys.
Thank you everyone! I'm still learning and trying to get into this detailing I am really enjoying myself so far.
It probaly is the combination of distance and angle that is'nt helping show it off that much. Also a cheap camera! I'll try to get a couple more pics tommorow in daylight and post them here.
Doesn't look dull from here either. Keep up the good work !
I tried Meguiar's No. 26 High Tech Yellow Liquid Wax yesterday on my light silver 04 Maxima. I used NXT on it last weekend and put on a coat of #26 yesterday.
I really like how the 26 made the paint look. It looked darker and more shimmery.
lol yep I drove in and out about 1-2 MPH being as carful as possible. Seemed like a good spot for a photo op. Actualy when I got it back home no gravel or dirt from that, but it did need some qd from splater off the rims. No sure if it was brake dust the was wet that kicked up or the tire shine stuff.
