Phone and table mount for auto

I’m looking for a good holder for an iPhone and iPad that will mount on a windshield. I’m taking a road trip and would like to run my phone as a phone linked to my air pods and Waze on the iPad through the bloototh. I’m open to a better set up. I need to make Sure it won’t abstruct my view of the road but you guys have some good ideas. Prefer not attaching to vents. Suction cup to windshield is my preference.

Not sure if iPads and windshields mix. I use RAM mount in all our cars. I`ve got two styles. For one I fabbed up a bracket out of aluminum that I attach to the seat rail and build using RAM components up from there. Going forward this is how I will build all of mine, nothing permanently attached to the car. The other style has a base screwed into the console. Both look great and function. I`ll try and get some pictures.

I source most of mount parts from here --> Garmin GPS, RAM Mounts, Lowrance GPS at GPS City (built these before I was a PRIME member).
 
This is the best I found for the iPad . With the long neck it adapts pretty well to most cars.

More work than Coleroad`s approach (which looks good). I`m not a fan of windshield mounts and was looking for permanent phone mounts.
