i had to reformat my comp awhile ago and sadly i forgot to back up my bookmarked sites. that includes a wonderful library of very informative and useful detailing sites i have collected from my time on this board.

so i was wondering if somone can give me the link to that site that sold something about rust removers thats good to use before applying touch up paint if tha damaged surface has begun rusting. i remember it sold these plastic touch up brushes too that helps evenly distribute paint in tiny portions... great for touch ups. if anyone knows this site please let me know :)

also, can someone give me a link to the site that has magic clays on sale for the cheapest that we know of online?

thanks in advance!

The smallest paintbrushes I know about are the ones I use for retouching photos. Found in the larger camera stores, they go from 0-00000, with 00000 being the smallest. To get an idea of the sizes..I use a 0000 to take out dust specks on my prints. I has about 15-20 bristles on it. I would expect the 00000 to have even less.

Hey Ng, welcome back!

I had good results with a #0 art brush found in stores. A 00 might be even better for smaller rock chips, but I don't know that I've seen them.

OT: Why is there only one other American on at 2 AM? Uh-oh, I have to wake up in 2.5 hours

Are you talking about this??

Try a hobby store...they have all sorts of stuff like that.

Hobby lobby or those stores that sell to Model builders ecspecially the ones with those little teeny weeny soldier man they have to paint.:xyxthumbs

Try WalMart and PepBoys. I have seen the 3M version of the above tool at both stores for around $5. Both also sell very fine paint brushes too.

wow thanks alot, those were exacly what i was looking for...

anyone also know where to get the magic clays online for a decent price too?

Paint corrected with Menzerna PO203S and refined with PO85RE5. Ipa wipedown and alkalie wash was used to get the paint clean before coating with Aquartz and one layer of Reload.

Tires dressed with Wolf Chemicals, great tire dressing! Windscrean was treated with PPS nano glass treatment.

OMG, that was such a refreshing write up! I felt so nasty looking at the before's and then Bam! Freshness, I took a deep breath and felt so fresh and clean!

Nice!

Great job man, didn't even look like the same car after your magic. When I hear Peugeot - I think of old Lt Columbo and that little antique he drove. I'm looking to see if there're sold around here, might be fun to have something nobody else has, but with my luck it'd need a part that had to be shipped from the other side of Mars!
