Pep boys: aqual pel

Was at pep boy looking for some aqua pel and when I found it I discovered that is was only:



$4.00! :drool:



I bought them all and Im going to raid the rest of the pep boy around town. Its the PPG brand aqua pel but same thing so enjoy.
 
i've seen it in my local pepboys, never thought much about it because i already have rain x, and the invisible glass with repellant (which i feel is better; doesnt streak, or make wipers skip).. is aquapel really that much better?
 
Costco had cleared out the 4 packs for $10 last year. $4 each is still a good price.



Aquapel will last me 6 months with average rainfall. No streaking/chatter when it diminishes.

I was just in there the other day and didn't see it either.
 
4bux a pop is a very good deal in a retail outlet. I've noticed it once or twice in my local store...it was extremely well-hidden. It was in the detailing supply section tucked between a bunch of tall products essentially precluding anyone from seeing it.



I asked a store person if they had it and that person had no idea what I was asking about. I later stumbled upon it by accident.
 
Geez, that's crazy. I was in AAP a month or two ago and they were selling it for $15 each!!
 
The ones I found were near the end cap hanging on a rack, again tucked away, My last treatment of aquapel was over a year ago and the only reason I re-applied it was because I had some more, the stuff lasts. Keep in mind my car is always outside and our average rainfall is 52.38"

yep, aqua pel is pretty awesome stuff. I had no idea it was even sold in retail stores. I'll be at pepboys tomorrow just to buy one (even if it isnt on sale). I put it on my car last may and my windows still bead pretty decently.



edit//went to pepboys today took me a while to find it, but it was indeed on sale.



$4.. bought 4.
