No problem at all! Actually, I've seen the video and knew about those links because I also post at a few other forums geared to detailing professionals. I was also looking into getting their PI-III Machine Glaze...but ultimately decided not to. It would be interesting to see how their "detail polish" products differ from their other polishes.



Currently, with the exception of the Finesse-It II and Rubbing Compound, I don't use any of 3M's professional line. The 3M video is pretty impressive.....I'd love to have access to a place like that for my car!



:::Edit::: I was under the impression that velcro backed attachments shouldn't be used with rotary buffers because it's hard to get them perfectly centered...resulting in unnecessary vibration? No?
 
I have seen the over the counter polishes and such 3M makes.



The fine cut, swirl remover, and compound. Then I watched the video. I heard about these PRO detailing products. Hence, detail compound 308, detail polish 208, and detail polish 108. With the waffle design, I figured why on earth would I get those other 3M products when detailing industries use the pro polishes and such. I want the pro results so therefore I need the pro products. Not some, 3M car newbie product(even though that is kinda what I am lol). Those 3 polishes I mentioned 308,208, and 108 are for the pro industry. My friend got his black car detailed by a pro, and I have never seen anything greater on the road. He used ALL 3M products.





I am referring to the videos pads. pad 5703, or 5704, and the 5725, and the other one white foam pad 5708 I believe. Two grades of whool and 2 densities of foam.



when I say "or" one pad is for hard paint? and the other is for soft clear coat paint?



Not sure what they mean by this.
