Client just purchased this CPO'd AMG beast with 25k miles. I think CPO means that the dealer hacks Can't Polish Out: RIDS, swirls and holograms.



Joey and I went to pick her up from the client, Joey had to suffer driving our 535i GT back while I maintained much self control to keep this AMG at speed limit +9.



Once we got her to my place, we recorded some sweet chin music aka a few blips just at 2k.

Process:

Foamed and 2BM wash with Dawn to remove any glazes/waxes.

Wolf's decon gel applied to paint, wait 10 mins, foamed and wash again.

Wheels cleaned with Wolf's decon gel.

Tires with HD citrus APC. Thanks for the sample Barry Theal!

Clayed using Innovative Detailing's clay towel and Garry Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice



Compounding: M101 3 drops and D300 1 drop on a megs MF pad via Dynabrade on flex 3403 rotary.



Finish polishing: 3Ds polish on a flat white LC pad via Dynabrade on flex 3403 rotary.



Wash with Dawn again and 2x IPA wipedown to ensure any polishing oils are removed.



Applied Wolf's Chemicals Body wrap using a flat black LC pad on the GG speed 3. 2 drops to start with and 1-2 per panel after.



Tires Zaino Z-16

Wheels 2x Wolf's Rim Shield

All glass including Panorama glass roof Wolf's Glass Guard.

Thanks Garry Dean! We did use your detailing juice as a lube for the clay towel. Worked very nice and such an insane cost cutting ratio.

Awesome! My Infinite Use Detail Juice is amazing, but I guess I am a little bias... Im glad you enjoy it. I believe you have v1... V2 is even better and has Rapid Encapsulation Technology.

What I really like about the ceramiclear paints that Mercedes uses is how consistent they are. What corrects one, corrects others, not nearly as finicky as some other paints. Plus once you correct it, if the owner takes proper care when washing it, the paint stays good for a long time.
