Do you know if I can use PC7336 3.7 amps @110v in the country, where standard voltage is 100v? does it gonna give me any problem? can any smart person tell me?

~One manâ€â„¢s opinion / observations~

P-C power spec:

Power: 110-120 Volts AC, 50-60 Hz

Motor: 3.7 amps, single phase

A drop of 10V will slow it down a little, but if the 50-60 HZ cycle is different the combination of both might make a significant difference

~Hope this helps~

I'm assuming Ny is Nagoya, Japan? If it is, you're in luck. Western Japan uses 60 hz, just like in the US. It's unlikely your voltage is exactly 100 volts. It might be 105 or even higher. There's a good chance the PC will run just as good as in the states.

Now if you lived in eastern Japan, where the frequency is 50 hz, and/or your voltage was a little low, say 95, then you would probably notice a significant performance decrease.

Thanks for the info!! Acutally I'm in Yokohama now. I was in New York before, I will bring my portar cable from US.

so my area right now is probably 50hz, aww, but I'll give a try.

THanks!!

You can try using a transformer if the voltage isn't to your liking.

That's a great idea. You can use a Variac, which is an adjustable transformer. Look for one used on ebay. Cheaper ones often don't have a voltmeter so you'll have to use an external meter.
