Right Im gonna sort a order out with Autopia late on, so to double check Im ordering:



*PC 7424 ( is it worth ordering the Porter Cable 7424 Ultimate Polisher? comes in at £100 )



Ive already got a polisher and finishing pad ( megs )
 
I got the Ultimate one and extra pads at same time.



If you just get the standard PC7424, what are you doing for a velcro backing plate??
 
If you've already got some pads and you're getting the backing plate from Vindaloo, then you just need the standard 7424.



Also, USPS shipping is approx. $40 on top.



Remember, the less you order, the less you'll have to pay IF you end up paying duty and vat. ;)
 
What quality are the pads that would come with it?

If there any good might as well have some for the future, and would need a new one for swirl removing.



What about plugs now then?

You get one very bog standard pad supplied glued to a plate........not highly thought of.



If you want some spare pads, you might as well order at the same time. The orange, white and grey are all :xyxthumbs



If you've sorted the transformer and extension, you don't need any more plugs. I'm assuming you're getting the yellow ones :nixweiss

I have a family member currenlty based in Las Vegas and another in Coloarado, is it going to benefit me getting it deliverd there and then fowarded to me?
 
Nope none at all, if you order from autopia. The USPS charge will still be the same, but you'll have to pay for it to be sent to them, so prob cost more!



They may be able to get you a PC7336 cheaper, see here for details http://www.autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32487



They may help also in future if you need something from a store which doesn't ship to UK unless you spend lots of $$$$$$$$$
