PC speeds.....

OK...just got my PC and some of the LC pads......white, grey, and orange.



Is there a certain speed I should be using for polishes, sealants, waxes, etc??



Dont really know where to start with the speeds and to go up or down depending on???????

I usually like to use speed 5 for polishes, 6 for paint cleaners and glazes, and 4 for applying sealants.
 
I use the higher speeds for cleaners and polishes, speed dependent on how fast the product will break down or dust.

For sealants and waxes I usually just have it on 2 or 3.
 
I will use speed 4 - 5 for polishes but have found that on final polishing a speed of 3.5 will give the brightest and clearest finish. Now this will depend on the polishes you are using. I have been using and loving 1Z polishes which I believe break down faster than some others. Has anyone else found a slower speed to yield better final polishing?
