PC pads

Which pads do you prefer, and why?

I'm thinking of trying out some new pads, as the backings of the ones I have are all coming off (they're the ones CMA carried about 6 mos-1 year ago...)

I'm really interested in a good cutting pad, and a good polishing pad...

The products I plan on using most often with these pads are 3M fine cut and AIO.

Suggestions?

I use both Edge classic (which uses a backing plate) and the Edge 2000 system ( uses the adapter) I like the pads ,they come in 5 different grades ,not to mention 2 different foams, the foam they use is a qualityproduct that holds up a long time , easy to clean , its a local company and they stand behind their pads 110%. The Edge 2000 pads are the double sided pads with the adapter for quick on and off with zero worries about centering the pad. Thats my story :xyxthumbs

BTW what part of Phila are you in ?

rollman,

I actually just moved across the bridge to Haddonfield, NJ. But I work at 16th and Chestnut...

I used to live in Northern Liberties, right above the Standard Tap...

Where do you get these pads? Any online site? I haven't seen them...

I prefer the Propel pads for several reasons:

Cheaper than other pads

very easy to center with the Propel backing plate

quick, exact shipping from ExcelDetail.

Couldnt have said it better myself. I feel they are definitely the best bang for the buck. Same, if not better, quality then the high dollar pads at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention (which is the best part to me) is that shipping is EXACTLY what it costs him to ship it to you. You will be refunded the difference. Patrick is a class act.

My current favorite are the Sonus DAS pads. I've heard that the Propel pads are very similar, so if this is true then you can't go wrong with either of them.

This is strictly speaking PC, of course. For rotary and cyclo I have other favorites.
