PC pads and your opinions?

I've been using the sonus pads package with my PC7336 to

a great deal of success. I like the size and variety of the pads

available. I'm a detailing noob, so don't take my opinion as

gospel. :o

Just ordered the Sonus line for my PC. Should have product here

by this Saturday and will post a review early next week.
 
I've used the Sonus pads a few times and am liking them better than the "traditional" pads. The velcro backing extends far past the 5" backing plate so no gouging and resulting foam dust has been observed. I'll probably use Sonus pads for a long time as I've become attached to them.
 
Is there any problem using a 5" backing plate with a 6" weight? Or is it only a problem when using a larger backing plate with a smaller weight?



I have the PC 7336SP from Lowes and it has a 6" weight.
 
As I understand it to be, it seems to be neccesary/a problem with pads in excess of 7inches, so 71/2 certainly qualifies.
