Hello all. This is my first post to this forum and since coming across it about a month ago have found it very informative. I have a 99 black Silverado that I want to keep looking its best and am considering buying a PC to help remove some swirls from the previous owner. I recieved a Sears Craftsman buffer for fathers day but am already thinking of returning it and go for a PC. After reading various posts I am still confused as to which is a better deal, buying from Coastal or Lowes. Is there anything you get from coastal that you wouldn't get when buying the CMA pad set?

Thanks

Just go to Lowe's and get the PC (7336), then order the pad kit from CMA. I don't think your going to save too much going through Coastal but I'm not positive.

Where at in NW Indiana are you?

So if you get the Lowes and CMA kit, you're basically set. If you get the Coastal tools set, you just need to get pads right?

I ordered my PC from coastal because of 2 reasons. 1 My lowes store does not stock the PC and was quoted 130.00 as the price and then I would have to get the velcro backing pad and 6 inch counterweight so even more money. 2 Coastal is offering the PC with the velcro backing pad and the 6 inch counterweight for 119.00. :D

you may want to check porter cable service center nearest to you , they regularly have reconditioned 7336 w same warranty as new for like $90 w velcro backing plate
