PC and PFW?

I finally ordered my 4" pads, I went with LC Flat pads from detailersdomain.com should be here monday. Now thinking maybe I should get a couple of 3.5" PFW pads? Not used on the entire car but on certain spots that maybe needs more then the foam can do? Hows that sound? What heavy hitter works well with PFW and PC? Was thinking of some M105?

PFW works very well with M105 on a rotary. I've heard others speak about using that combination on a PC with good results.

i used it with my UDM with great results but i also have some questions.

My wool pad become completely flat during the process....

What pressure should i apply??

Is it OK to use it by the same way as i use the foam pads or there are some differences??

Not much. This is one case where you really should just let the product/pad do the work.

Apply lesss pressure, other than that...don't worry. The PFW is more forgiving than orange/yellow foam cutting pads IMO.

Thanks!

I guess that with less pressure the PFW will not be so flat as now, right??

Eh...mine still flatten out, I just don't worry about it. Note that the PFW doesn't finish out very well by PC, this might be one reason why :nixweiss

i noticed that on soft CC/paints when it became flat. When it was new the finish was good but not perfect even on soft paints/CC...I am always following up with a polishing or finishing pad so i don't worry too much for the finish of PFW....:xyxthumbs
