PC and Megs #2 -- Couldn't wait

Bought a PC from Lowe's and was waiting patiently for my Sonus Pads and Paintwork Cleaner from Autopia store.



Couldn't stand it, so I used a bit of Fine Cut Megs #2 on the supplied polishing pad and got to work on a couple of scratches that I thought were a bit deep.



Magic! They're either gone or hidden nicely. No real hazing on champagne gold, but just to make sure, I followed up with a bit of Megs #9.



Now I can't wait to try this with the real pad kit!

I am glad it worked out for you. For your information Megs #2 is not made for a PC. It is made for a rotary.

Although the label on the container now says Meguiar's #2 Fine Cut Cleaner is made to be applied by machine, I have had very good results using it by hand. Hey, as long as you get good results, I guess that's really all that matters. Glad to see that you were able to polish out those scratches.
