PC 7336 Questions

The local Lowe's has a PC 7336... but they claim it's a random orbit sander, and can be converted to a polisher. What would I need for the conversion?

Another question: Will products for the 7424 fit the 7336? For example, Edge Buffing pads and their adapter? I hear there is basically no difference except for the counterweight, I just want verification.
 
It comes with a sanding plate and a polishing pad, I believe. You have heard right- no difference. You'll need nothing else other than the edge stuff if you are planning on going that route. You'll get the PC and all you'll have to do is screw in the Edge adaptor, put on a pad and go polish away.
 
Thanks man. This is good news, since it's only $109 at Lowes. I'll probably pick it up this Sunday. I'm pumped... Haha
 
Yup you can't go wrong with the PC. When/if mine dies, I'll be getting it locally from Lowes (since one just opened near by). Get your order in with edge so you can get to the polishing! Good luck.
