Pc 7335

If you meant the 7336, it is nearly identical to the 7424. So yes it's great.

If you meant 7335, I've never heard of it so I have no idea what it is.

The guys said it is a 7335. Maybe the 7336 replaced the 7335. It looks kind of old. I googled 7335 and found this:

Description:Model 7335 Features: 3.7 Amp, AC only Electronic variable-speed dial 2,500-6,000 OPM Random, swirl-free sanding action Spiral/bevel gears 100% ball bearings

After reading up on it a little bit, it appears to be a sander instead of a buffer....

The 7424, 7335, and the 7336 are basically the same thing. I think the 7424 and 7335 come with 5" counterweights while the 7336 comes with a 6" counterweight:

So yes, that would be a very good polisher once you bought a backing plate and a set of pads. All of the members here who use a "PC" are using one of these. I use a 5" counterweight with 6.5" pads (5" backing plate) w/o any problems, but if you want a 6" weight they are only a couple of bucks. Be aware that you can usually find a new 7336 at Lowes for about $99, so keep that in mind when pricing a used one.
