PBs S&W and S&G

After applying 3 coats of UPP, is there a need to use PBs Spray and Wash prior to Spray and Gloss if the car really isn't dirty. If I understand the intent of the 2 products, S&W is used more for when the car is actually dirty while S&G is more of a detailer/gloss enhancer spray?

If the car isnt diry then you can just use S+G. If the car has some extra film or is a little dirty then you will want to S+W. Easy rule to follow if you not sure if need the S+W do it anyway. I seem to always use S+W and then S+G together just becuase it has became such a habit for me.

As Greg said, if there is any chance that some dirt or dust has gotten on the paint, use a little S & W prior to S & G or prior to anything for that matter.
