Its great for those rims will help repel the water and everything else that gets on them, protecting them from oxidizing

It will also reduce brake dust and make the wheels easier to clean.

Exactly what Beemerboy & Audiboy said...I've been using in on my uncaoted polished wheels for over a year with great results.

I never have to use anything other then car soap and water to clean them....I re apply 2-3 coats every two months.

I do polish them every couple of months with a light polish to remove marring but they have yet to oxidize.

Here is a review I did on it about a year ago:

and here are some recent shots of them:

You know we're going to need some pictures of those wheels once you get that sealant on there, right?

I wish that I had this product when I had polished aluminum rims...I had regular sealant but that wasn't high temp and would wear off quickly...this one lasts a good while on my car....My customers love the way there rims look when I get done detailing their cars and using this

Yep...I took my front wheels off a while ago. Cleaned, polished, and sealed. Brake dust rinses off freely....now the rears on the other hand...lol

Well that's good news. What kind of prep? I have been using Mothers Bullet polish every few weeks.

The only prep that you need is what you are doing...after you get done apply the sealant and your done...I would bet that you will be polishing less with this product...I do

All you have to do is wash the rims really good with some APC to get the brake dust and grime off then put on some WS. Thats it

Look at that the same time LOL

Yes, that's exactly what i would say...a good polish and then apply ...two-three coats would be best for uncoated wheels...you do NOT need to let it haze nor do you have to wait between coats. :)
