I was looking to try a trim dressing from Poorboys, but was confused to find 2. What is the difference between the Trim Restorer and Natural Look? -- why are there 2 different products for what essentially seems the same thing?

I really like Trim Restore for the window seals-it seems like a coconut suntan lotion for your car. I have not tried Natural Look extensively yet.

i'm not sure about the natural look, but i've tried the trim restorer, and it is a good dressing for trim. it also is good for treating faded trim, and for removing wax or polish on the trim.

Here is my mirror with TR on it.

It works great on grained trim-plastic, not so great on rubber.

Takes any residue off of the grained trim effortlessly.

Both are good. Natural look is a matte dressing, while Trim Restorer will remove old wax and do a good job cleaning rubber/plastic while leaving behind a matte finish.

I PM'd Steve -- I hope he doesn't mind me repeating it here for others reference. This is what he had to say...

Trim restorer= solvent based , long lasting for grainy trim but can be used on many other surfaces...

Natural Look= water-based mainly for interiors, also has light cleaning ability and a very nice scent...great for leather, vinyl and has a biocide to prevent mold when sprayed in vents and on carpets.

Since most ppl replied postive for TR, and that above picture looks great -- I'm shooting for that!

I have and use both products. I use the TR on exterior black trim, and since I have a CR-V, there is a ton of it. Brings up a nice even black gloss and gets rid of that dull haze appearance. I use the NL on interior vinyl and plastic surfaces with excellent results and a very nice smell. I do not use it on clear plastics ( I use Meg's cleaner/polish for clear plastic). TR is fine for rubber and door/window seals etc, but to be honest, I'm using up the last of some ArmorAll on the seals.

I have both and like each one but they do have different uses. NL is the product you would use on interior vinyl or leather. It has a fairly matte finish and a nice smell.

Trim Restorer is great on exterior vinyl trim (pebbled trim) as it really makes it look new. If used correctly it will not run and streak like the usual 303 type protectant. TR is also excellent under the hood on hard plastic trim.
