Pb Qd+

yes it could replace S&G ..just remember the car should be clean and dry before using QD+ ;)

Poorboy or Pockets, could you explain the difference between QD+ and QW+. I am fairly new to Poorboys products (have on tried Spray and Wipe so far) and want to get some more.

I'm not either one you asked for, but the basic difference (now) is that QW+ is a spray wax with some cleaning abilities (Not to be confused with 'washing' abilities) and should be used on a clean car. QD+ is a quick detailer that adds some protection (not as much as a 'real' wax) and can be used to wipe off fingerprints etc. as well as adding some pop.
Neither should be used on a dirty car, though.
Old versions of QD+ were basically QW+ before there was a QW+, so that's where it gets a little confusing.

I'm glad you asked. I was thinking about that. I used a plush towel. Would it be better with a smaller nap? Like the kind I would use to remove hazed over wax?

Specifically, I think I used a Cobra Deluxe Jr.. Would it be better to use a cobra indigo? I also have some nice PB towels too :)

I'm not familiar with the cobra towels but we use the DMT's fluffy side first and finish with the smooth side:cool:

I just got my 32oz bottle and I have to say this stuff is SLICK. The product went on effortlessly, no streaking as some were saying, and the finish is smooth as silk. Great product.

great to hear ..just remember less is better , but the more you use it the slickers and glossier it gets;)

Just for clarification (before you all go dumping the bottle on your paint :rofl) Steve means the more coats not the more product on the paint. We have found that doing two or three coats makes it wetter and glossier every time :rockon

I want to report that I think I finally got the QD+ process down (I know I'm a little slow).

Yesterday I lightly sprayed QD+ (okay I sprayed too much a couple of times :wall) on the Jag, wiped it off, flipped the MF over and buffed. It took a bit of buffing and that made me think "this is more work than I want to do". Ah, but then when I saw the results :inspector: I thought "that was way worth the little bit of effort to buff!". :bigups

I'm thinking I may do another application today!

I also found that doing smaller sections did away with any issues.
And the looks and slickness are well worth the time :bigups
