More as I get em.......

My kid is a college student (recent grad, going bak to grad school inJan) So he's doing his thing too. And I had to go to nyc today, and back tomorrow.

Ugh. If I knew i'd have to go I would have let him bring his car and if I knew I had to go back I would have stayed in the city, but I didnt bring anything with me. So It's a lot of miles the last few days.

Me tired.

Well at least the new tires are breaking in;)

I'm sick today, some kind of cold. Must have caught it from the kids on Saturday. I hate missing work this way.

As Deanski asked...

Deanski – (maroon shirt) Morphius (sp) Do not think he is with DC. What cay you say about this car? Even my dog Spooky is checking it out…

It was quite nice. Actually it's Morfious, but I mostly lurk on here looking for good information so no harm in getting the name slightly incorrect.

To Steve, Pockets and the rest of the crew that lent a helping hand, thanks for a great weekend. My Solstice/Sky club members had a blast and even learned a thing or 2 about proper detailing.

Just to help out I think everyone in our group ended up going home with at least some new poorboys products. Keep making great stuff!!

They felt real nice on the way home last night. So I think I like em.

Hope you feel better.

First of all I would like to Thank Poorboy's (Steve & Pockets) for putting on such an event, for those on the outside looking in there is so much more than putting up a few tents and displaying some products... sooo much more.

Secondly I'd like to Thank Ron, Jason, Dave & Dennis, Kurt and many others for the endless comradery.

If anyone walked away not learning a thing or 2 they weren't listening, every corner I turned there was useful information being given freely, helpful hint on breaking bad habits, learning of new tips and trick and some short-cuts that worked very well... yep even this old guy learned a new trick or 2..... imagine that?

I'm still laugh my ass off over that Dave.... did you see the look on the workers faces when we walked out?... i bet they were all saying " there walks out our profit for today" :rofl:lmfao:rockon

Thank You All again for a great time.

I thik I got my fill there too. Kid said I made 5 trips + dessert. (i thought it was only 4 + dessert).

Good food, good times, lots of stuff I learned.....

As well as the union mandated nicotine breaks.

We met lots of great people at Poorboys on Sunday. It might take me a few days to correlate the real names to the forum names.

As I just said in a PM- If all the talk about Detail City didn't come from such a friendly and enthusiastic group of detailers- I wouldn't have signed up. You all represented this forum very well and it was a pleasure to meet everyone.

A big thanks to the crew at Poorboys. If you've ever been hesitant to tackle any facet of detailing- go to the next one of these meets. There was a great deal of knowledge and techniques available; and plenty of hands on experience for everyone that attended.

Yes, he was needing info on paint protection film and how it can be corrected. And a few other tips or info which I'll always share.
