This was a referral from a forum member. I love these cars and was fun working on this one. Owner didn't want a paint correction detail, just a wash, clay, and sealant in prep for a car show on VERY short notice. Later this spring a full correction will be carried out. The tires would take some time as they had many years of old dressing built up but were looking much better as did the rest of the car at the end of the day.
Nothing too crazy, just a cool ride looking a bit better now.
Upon arrival
Time to give the wheels a good cleaning with some Sonax Full Effect
A little foaming action
Old wax stripped off
Years of tire dressing on top of tire dressing made for some nasty tires. Stoner's Tarminator, cotton towels (thrown away after), and some good elbow grease helped get it looking proper again.
Two coats of Chemical Guys Blacklight was applied
Finished pics. Again, not a correction detail, so there are still plenty of swirls. Next time around the owner wants to remove them.
Thanks for looking!
