PakShak releases ultra edgeless towel!

If you like Viking then stay with it. I have deep experience with microfiber so I have a strong opinion in this area. I test a lot of products, pretty much all the towels listed in this thread.

you have your opinions just like everyone else, and to say ______ mf towels are better than ______ mf towels is in the eye of the beholder...

you like what you like and everyone will like what they like. what works for you, may be the opposite for someone else as well as opinions...

Aloha all...

There are many micro fiber towels in the marketplace and from day one we have always recommended enthusiasts to try different brands. Whether they are the same or not I'm not privy to that information but stick to the one you like. It can be OTC or from any of the reputable online vendors.

In general, the marketplace for micro fiber towels have become competitive. There are better micro fiber towels today than there was say 1-2 years ago offered through various reputable sources.

I agree with imacarnut with the following quote,

"you like what you like and everyone will like what they like. what works for you, may be the opposite for someone else as well as opinions...".

So try different micro fiber towels and stick with what you like.

With Aloha,

Ranney :)

SilverLexus have you tried CG's ulta plush towels? They are very good towels look at the specs on them. It really doesn't get any better. JMHO

Well said :hifive: .

I have and really like Pakshak mfs (class act Ranny) but that does not mean they are the only game in town - as if ALL others mf are inferior (imo thats bandwagoning).

MDRX8,

totally agree - one of my goto, with great pricing too.

I never said all others are inferior. In fact I said there are good values and that AutoGeek, DP, and Poorboys have great towels.

People forget conveniently here what prompted my comments. There were replies that implied that the boutique mf was a bit of a rip-off because they felt you could get the same towel for budget prices, some of which were OTC. I collect a lot of microfiber and that simply does not match up with my experience. I believe, while there are exceptions, you do generally get more when you spend a buck or two more and get Pak or AutoGeek or the DMT or other mail order brands.

I think where there is agreement is the following:

1. Use what you like as car nut suggested. If you like Viking then go for it.

2. Quality has gotten tons better over the recent years. We all benefit from this.

Something to think about: In some recent OTC shopping I found towels that were at or above the discount price I get from Pak or other mail order vendors. The best does not always cost more. :)

while i have never posted on this site, i could not believe this post. it is like an advertisement for pakshak solely supported by silverlexus. i just have a couple of things to say.

1. can you snap a picture of the "box of mf samples" you recieved of viking mf's? did you get it from viking? it would be greatly appreciated as noone has any authorization to give out any boxes of samples. we sell to many large companies, all over the world. we do not need your humble opinion and i doubt you even have 1 towel that is from viking more or less sent from us.

2. i do not know of the quality of pakshak but i can assure you no mf manufacturer in the world uses the state of the art equipment we have and if there is a company that is even close, it probably came from our factory as viking does provide private labels for individual private companies.

i dont mean to be rude as everyone is entitled to their own opinion but i just dont like the way you keep rejecting other's suggestions and only defending pakshak. but if you can provide vikings and pakshak side by side, i will apologize and conclude that YOUR opinion is legit. but remember when you tell people to "pay a bit more or less to get the best" it should be changed to "pay a bit more to get WHAT I THINK is the best"
