Pak Shak MF towels

I know this has been beaten to death but I need help. Was just surfing Pak Shaks site and my head is spinning. I want to buy some MF towels for QD and removal of wax (nuba stuff). For those of you have used these products, is there really much difference between the Ultra Plush or Ultra Fine MF towels? I may be splitting hairs here that's why I asking you guys before I buy. Also is the Ultra Micro Bonnet worth the cost for the PC to remove wax? As allways, THANKS for you input.

I am with John on this one. The Ultra Plush are my favorties towel for QD'ing. I did hear from Ranney and he is coming out with a new line of towels in December. I believe they are going to be in tropical colors... :grinno:

Yup those are what I use them for. PakShak MFs are some of my favorites.

Very high quality :bigups

Thanks for the quick response guys. I'll get some of each, I guess you can never have to many!

I have the Ultra plushes and really like them. They have a very plush side and a finer side. I'm not sure how fine the fine side is. I use the one towel for all my needs. Works great for me.

Simply put... NO! I have a bunch of them. Every time that I have used them for product removal they would cake up way to fast. I had to change a bonnet for every panel. Maybe it was a little more than that. In my opinion they are not worth the cost and hassle.

Bonetts should be used, IMO, for final buffing, not product removal........

Any route or towel you get from Ranney will exceed your needs for sure!

I almost exclusivy use Pakshak towels.

I love them.

For me:

Pakshak Ultras for Polish removal and Sealants.

Pakshak Ultra Fines - For final Buffing and wipe down.

Pakshak Ultra Plushes for Qding and Carnuba Wax removal.

You know that you can turn the bonnet inside out. I use the bonnets for wax or sealant removal. I usually flip the bonnet over halfway through the car. It keeps it from getting caked up with product. I also run my fingers over the nap of the MF bonnet with the PC on after each panel.
