Actualyl Corvettes are hearled as the best performance car for less than $50k. With CF, it would be WAY more, closer to 70-80, but the weight would drop considerably, especially if they aluminzed the frame.

The Z06-405 Is a nice car a friend has one it has good torque and accelration its an all around fun car for the money. Although I perfer the Mercedes AMG line its till an awsome American sports car. the 2005-06 is supposed to be even better.

Da, I am aware of the power behind a Z06. I am member of the Oklahoma City Corvette Club, which my father is VP of, and I am also registered nationally. I love the way a Vette feels, it jsut feels so much more...solid that the Mustang I drive, but that is to be expected.

Im not a fan of the way the gear ratios are set up on the Viper. It may be fun to drive, but I cannot deny the fact that I have seen them on Auto-X courses, and unless in the hands of a capable driver, you can spin it too damned quick. The Viper just seems to be too pedal hungry, begging to be shot down a track; but, unfourtunatly thats the best way to get yourself seriously hurt.

The Viper has serious performance both in 1/4 Times and on the Track. Its great for both and the gearing is good for what its ment to do. Show me a sports car which isnt pedal hungrey.

Touche on the pedal thing.

Im just going to leave the Viper alone, Motor Trend let the Corvette win over the Viper, so I will leave it there :D

Maybe the reason for not having CF on the vette is the fact CF is fairly new on cars and CF just isnt cheap enough to mass produce for their vehicles yet.
