Hey guys,
My son has a 1999 Crown Victoria, and on the hood it seems to have acid spots? Just like if someone put some acid in a spray bottle and sprayed it above the hood, letting the acid fall down and eat away at the paint. The spots are only in about a 1' by 1' section, but are pretty noticeable from close up. We have tried Scratch X, and some medium & fine compounds. There are so many spots that you can't touch them all up with touch up paint either.
So what does everyone think we should/can do to help hide/remove them?
Thanks
Mike

A picture of the area is included, all the spots are about the size of a tip of a ballpoint pen.
