Paint sealant and waxes

Well the mastershield is great and has the durability but in opinion not the look of a wax. Plus you know the saying if you want the waxed look then wax it ;)

Shane.blezers- Heh heh, OK...then sure, use the Collinite. BUT...since there's no end to the ways I can spend your money ;) ....I'd probably top with one of the Collinite paste waxes instead of the 845, at least if it's *not* a light color such as white or silver. The 845 is pretty "bright/reflective" and doesn't do the "rich/deep/high-jetting" -look thing the way you might want if going for the "wax look". Heh heh, note all those scare-quotes, hard to see stuff through somebody else's eyes!

Shane, what I think most are not thinking about is that the used vehicle have a "lot life" before they move on to an auction, etc.

IE, if they don't sell, move them on(hello dealer trade or auction), obtain new inventory.

Very few vehicles the dealership trades for or buys at auction will be kept in inventory beyond 60 days, some good ones, may stick around on the lot for as much as 120 days.

That is the "shine" window you have to deal with, not the same for an individual owner who is looking for perfection, right?

Pretty much, except we have a wholesale lot which we dont clean care for they go there and our wholesalers or whoever buy the cars. What we clean is for our used car lot which like you said the time in which they sit can vary. some only last a few days/ weeks. some a couple months...

I have heard it a few times, but is 845 a light color type of wax??

That's what many (most?) people think, and it's what I was alluding to with my comments about it vs. the Collinite paste. BUT...when I used it on my dark blue beater-Audi, it got so many compliments at the dealership ("how can I get my new Audi to look as nice as that one?") that they called me up to ask what I'd used on it!

Eye-of-the-beholder and all that...
