Paint Protection vs. Northeast US...

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
This is your typically daily driven SUV this time of year in the Northeast. If there is ever a way to stress the importance of paint protection, pictures like these should do the trick. I typically hand wash this Range Rover once a week, but at the time of these pics, 3 weeks had elapses since the last handwashing. The last time I washed this SUV I applied a coat of Meguiars #21 synthetic sealant, and it assisted in helping to safely remove all this road salt efficiently and without causing damage (swirls) to the clearcoated surface (2 bucket method + Meguiars Hyperwash + MF wash mitt).

I cannot agree enough. My truck gets a coat of Collinite 885 once every three to four weeks in the winter. Salt and dirt don't stand a chance.

Nice work OP, that RR looks stellar!

Nice

I agree! My Subaru Legacy wagon daily driver looks like that now and I'm confident that the #21 I put on is under the muck doing its job. Hopefully i'll be able to get to it this weekend if the warm weather holds up :)
