Paint protection time, help me with these products

Could somebody tell me the differences/similiarities between the following:



Klasse AIO

P21S Paintwork Cleanser

3M IHG

3M FI II



Can either of them be used after using Dawn and Claybar prior to wax to prep the paint or should a combination be used?

Klasse AIO - a one-step cleaner/wax. It's actually an acrylic sealant with solvents and abrasives to aid in removal of oxidation and paint cleaning. It leaves an acrylic sealant behind for shine and protection.



P21S Paintwork Cleanser - A mild paint cleanser, best used after claying. Must be followed up with wax or sealant as it provides no protection



3M IHG - A glaze that is basically nothing more than mineral oil. It hides swirls and gives a nice shine, but only temporary as it has no durability and will be washed off easily. Best used on show cars, or before using a carnuba wax. DO NOT use before using a polymer type sealant as it will not bond over the oils in IHG.



3M FI II - A medium strength abrasive swirl remover. Best results by machine but can be used by hand. Must be followed up with wax or sealant for protection and shine..............

let me get more specific.



I have a dark blue '00 540i and it is time to strip and start over again. Car has good finish with minor swirl marks



Here is my plan:



Wash with Dawn two times and Dry

Clay Bar

3M Scratch remover for any noticable scratches

Use the P21S paintwork cleanser with PC to clean paint

Use the FII for dark cars with PC to ide swirls

Klasse AIO

Klasse SG



Is this a good process? Is it overkill? Do I need to follow up the SG with One Grand Blitz Wax?

Here are some changes that I suggest. If you have minor swirling FI2 is not necissary. All you need is 3M SMR to take car of those. Also you can skip the p21s cleanser because that only works good if you go the carnuba route, aio basically does the same thing. I would recommend this...
