So, I have this relatively new Acura TSX, Meteor Silver (which is a light blue with fleck of silver).
After camping out on this forum, I decided I wanted to apply some sort of polymer-based protection to it. I ordered the Klasse kit, and clayed the car last weekend (very good advice from posters here - there was all this fine dust that I could neither see nor remove with a good washing - despite the newness of the car).
I've noticed at one or two points on the car, a kind of discoloration. There are spots of paint that are a much darker blue than the rest of the car. I went over all those spots with a claybar, and then went over them again when I applied Klasse AIO to the car. Yet, the color spots are still there.
After the claying and AIO (as well as my first coat of SG) the car is smooth as glass. And, when I run my hand over the discolorations, it also feels very smooth.
Any idea what could cause a problem like that?
P.S. Have I mentioned before how grateful I am for all the wonderful advice I have been getting here?
