Paint curing time????

I should be picking my car up over the weekend from it's respray.



So can someone give me a final answer on the curing time of paint?



I have read on here anything from 36-72 hrs to 30, 60, 90 days!!!!

Depends on the catalyst used by the painter. It can vary from a few weeks to up to 3 months depending on what was used. Your best bet is to ask the person who painted your car. Not the person in the office taking your money, actually talk to the person who painted it.

It depends on the type of paint used. Give it 30 days, and you will be good. In the meantime 3M IHG or Meguiars Speed Glaze (out of the body shop line) can be applied for a small measure of protection while still allowing the paint to cure. I would apply weekly, but do not apply any wax or sealent.
