today I cleaned the 4runner that i just bought and got to see all of the little rock chips that were coveredup by the salt here in ny. nothing too bad...just the usual stuff. do you guys have any tips fo rtouch up application. i saw a product by mothers that is supposed to help with the touchup paint "blob". It says that it smooths it out when you apply it. any reccomendation s on how i should approch this. the car is black.

I have used that and I have gotten very good results. Go get some touch up paint from the dealer and get the Mother's kit or the Langka kit from Dwayne @ PAC (I hear that it's a lot nicer

Here you go!!!! I would just follow the directions on when you'd be able to polish. When I did my touch ups, I kept up with my regular routine. I don't think it would affect the touched-up area if you polished soon after you did the touch up, but I'd go with what the instructions say. Hope that helps!
