I have a very small chip in the paint on my passenger side rub strip (you know, the rubber/plastic strip down the side of the car) that was caused by some idiot hitting it with their car door.
What's the best way to fix this? There's no physical damage, it basically just scraped a tiny bit of paint off. It's probably 1/8th of an inch if that. It just sticks out bad because my car is silver and that spot is black.
Do I need to go through the whole wet sanding, primer, etc.? Or do you think I could just clean it good and put a dab of touch up paint on it?
