Today is March 20th. The calendar says it's my Mom's birthday (Happy Birthday Mom! Don't worry, I won't tell the autopians your age! :D) and the first day of spring....

I just came in from shoveling 3 to 4 inches of "spring" off of my driveway. It's a heavy wet snow that makes using my snowthrower an exercise in futility..the chute keeps clogging up!

The weather has been lousy...just enough wet snow the other day to have the sanders out, then rain, a few hours of sun, back to rain, now snow :(

My vehicles are dirty, I'm bummed out...and I needed my fellow clean car fanatics to talk to!

Dont feel bad..rained here all day (cold, damp, and wet)...

Tomorrow its supposed to be sunny and 60 and Friday a high of 30...

Trust me I feel your pain...

Same here. I'll get a better pic tomorrow. I have a new PC, Pinnacle PCL coming and 3 yosteve towels rev'ed up and ready to go. My wife is about to kill me!

I feel your pain too. Someone apparently didn't tell southeast Michigan that it's almost April, because it's been in the 30s around here. Did you see DavidB's post called "Spring has Sprung" in the Driving section? Those pics were taken this past weekend. That is why I'll never live anywhere else other than Southern California ever again!

peace

Mike

Same here we spent last weekend on our dirtbikes and today on snowmobiles. We already have 6+in of snow and it's still snowing hard. It's sad that we got out biggest snowstorm this year on the first day of spring.

Yup. Same here on the West Coast. In Canuckland, it's -2 centigrade, and freezing rain and snow. It's an ice rink out there.:(

Came home and had to wash the salt off the car, which then turned into a full wash. Neighbours were looking at me like I was an alien!

Last year, at this time, we were already in shorts outside.

and I thought we had a lot of Pollen! :D

Yeah, pollen season is starting. The yellow-green stuff coats everything. I'm always glad when it rains like it did today; all the crud gets washed away. This will go on for most of March and prolly into April. My Cali car duster really gets a workout this time of year. Car dusters and QD are my best friends.

I got a big old dose of spring yesterday. It got up to nearly 60 I would say. Today is supposed to be like 65 or something. I went out and did the Accord and the Integra. They both got a nice healthy coat of Pinnacle. :D It was a good change from the foot of snow we got on Saturday night.

Its not very often that I'm in one of the best weather places on a message board. Feels kinda weird. Good thing it won't happen often enough to get used to it, eh? lol

I'm in PA too, and we've gotten much need rain, but generally chilly weather. And it was warm all winter! And it's supposed to be like 30 degrees tomorrow! And I've had a chest cold for a week and a half now! arg!

I woke up this morning and did my usual routine to get ready for work. As I was walking out my door, I see snow falling pretty hard. Needless to say, the snow caused a lot of folks to display their severe lack of driving skills.

I have decided to go with the PC dual action polisher. What I am looking for is a recommendation on pads. This will only be used on my two vehicles, a Black Range Rover Sport and a White F150. Both are fairly new and the paint seems to be in good condition so I will be going light polishing and sealing/waxing.

I keep reading great things about the new Meguires MF system for minor corrections and am wondering if this is a good choice for me. I am currently using Klasse AIO and Colonite 845.

Thanks,

Matt

Lake Country flat pads Orange, white, black and gold or Buff and Shine orange, green and black. Orange for medium polishing, white or green for light polishing and black for glaze or sealant and gold for your LSP

Hi Matt, what machine do you plan to be using them with? If you are just looking apply your current products then a black pad (or gold pad) will work.

IF you are doing correction work with a DA polisher then the Meguiar's DA MF kit works great.
