Pad recommendations?

I just picked up my Makita 9227c. I am currently using System One, but considering moving away. I currently have Optimum Compound and Polish, along with the System One polish

CCS is my go to for my Flex.

Orange, White, Blue for starters. Also consider the PFW (nice but low durability).

I am going to try the green foam out next year.

What size backing plate do you rotary users employ?



I am considering the DeWalt or Makita next summer and have noticed multiple plate sizes.

I like green. It's soft like grey/blue, but has some cut like the white. I use orange, green, black, and red. I personally like the 7.5" mushroom for most work, but use smaller ones for compounding. I'm using a Flex DA, though.
