Pad recommendations for Porter Cable

I am planning the spring cleaning of my jet black Z4 and I need some PC pad recommendations. I am planning on using the Menzerna twins followed by AIO and UPP. The PC will only be used for the Menzerna. What pads are currently recommended? I found this link but I'm not sure if it's what I need:

I was planning on getting the deluxe kit. Also, they seem to recommend this for German cars but I assume that even though my German Z4 was made in South Carolina it would still have what they refer to as German paint charateristics.

I'm not sure that many even worry about their paint composition when choosing and buying pads.



Generally, it's a good idea to have a variety of different pads on hand. That way you're equipped to handle most situations. You will want at least 2 of each type, and adjust that number upwards depending on your budget and if you think you'll use more of one type than another. Most people get more polishing pads than cutting pads, as they probably have the widest range of products you can use with them.



Arguably, finishing pads are optional, but you never know when you want to apply something with them.
