Pad cleaning?

I think it deteriorates the pad. Woolite has been strong enough for me. Warm water and a gentle brush gets everything out.

I will have to try the Woolite

but as long as you rinse the Dawn out

I don't see how it could hurt your pads

I have always used Dawn (at first regular liquid and now power dissolver)

and I an still using my propel pads from a few years ago

I just use some regular blue dawn dish soap and rub it in under some running water and the pads usually come out clean but ill have to try the power dissolver. To dry them I put them on back on the udm and run it on speed 6 in a bucket to catch the water.

Would you guys recommend washing W8006 pads the same way too although Meguiar's doesn't recommend it?
My Meg's pads have held up to washings with both Dawn and Snappy Pad Cleaner. YMMV
