PAC Email

yeah i just got one like 15 minutes ago. Saying how they want to keep me a a valued customer of theirs. I never bought anything from pac which makes me think they are getting emails direct from this site.

Yes, your order from a week or so ago was placed on premiumautocare.com

They must be sending emails to all of my previous customers.

Premiumautocare.com had a newsletter opt-in feature at check out. Customers had a choice of being added to a list and receiving email or not. I would certainly hope that they are honoring the customers requests to be added to an email newsletter or not and not just sending email to every person that placed an order through the website.

Please give them the benefit of the doubt for now and make sure to let your voice be heard if you are receiving unwanted emails.

I apologize to anyone that might be receiving unwanted emails that placed an order with me in the past. I would never sell off an email list, Yahoo Merchant Solutions retains order information in the Store Manager and I thought that when Four Star retained ownership of the website that they would keep this infomation guarded and only send emails to those that specified that they wanted to receive emails. I made sure to show them how to see who opted in and who did not.

As long as that is honored, no problems here.

Its no Biggie to me.I just wanted to know if others had received the same Email.. 50 % off my next purchase would sound enticing from PAC "OH",this would include free shipping too:dnaughty ;) ..

Im sure they are business minded, however I think I would have been better prepared (product wise) before I brought the website back online...JMO

I have no doubt they have the experience to run the site.my only guess is that didnt want any downtime..

Hey I'm as much of a detailing product whore as anyone else and could be tempted by 15% but they stripped the site down and took away all the good stuff. I mean where's Wolfgang? Where's Poorboy's? A Premium Auto Care without Lexol? No Klasse? No Edge 2000 Pads???

It may say Premium Auto Care, but it was better when Dwayne had it. I'm not bashing anyone here, just stating the obvious. That site is like a skeleton of it's former self.

I'm sure they will do well in the future but I would highly suggest putting the products back on that site if they want to compete.

Thanks for the discount offer though.
 
Yeah, I'll have to agree that Dwayne probably put the 'Premium' in 'Premium Auto Care'. Fortunately we have DetailCity.com to order from to still get the good stuff, eh? :bigups

FWIW I never got their newsletter. :( I guess there is no love for the OG Four Star Pimp. :lol:
 
Hey guys,

The site did allow customers to opt-in to future newsletters and I have been able to view an email that was forwarded to me and it looks great and is very professional.

I appreciate the support and comments about how the site was while under my watch and now lets give the new folks a chance to earn a good reputation with it. I don't want to get involved with an "us vs. them" war of words on the forums, it isn't like that.

There is plenty of room for everyone and now is my chance to start again fresh with DetailCity.com so if you like what I do, you know where to find me, and I will be here for you when you need me.

Dwayne i am not surprised by this statement it is very proffesional. I have dealt with other vendors who know you or know of you they all have said very good things about you.. I wish you all the best.

I think mine said 15%. 50% is nice!
