P21S wax

I've been using Klasse/Blitz but thought I would give P21S a try. Do I need to strip the finish or can I just wash and wax if the finish is in good condition?

If you have not waxed in a few weeks, there should not be a problem applying a new different wax.

By the way, I tried P21S last weekend for the first time. The shine and feel of this product is very good. I have heard that it may not last long, similar to Zymol. However, the initial look is excellent. For whatever it is worth, it also scored the highest on the waxtest.com site (this should stir up the pot).

Did the principals at P21S used to work at Zymol? I see their offices are very close and I thought I heard that once.

Don't post any rumors. If anyone hear finds out P21S was made by Zymol they will lose a lot of customers. :) For whatever reason, not too many people on here are fond of Zymol.

Very few wax companies have their own manufacturing facilities. While they probably determine what they want in their products, how they want them to work, and what products they want them to look like, they are most likely made probably made elsewhere.......and that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Use a product because it works.....not because of where it is made. Kind of like the whole zymol turtle wax deal......who really cares about that......what bothers most folk is that it costs 2,3,4,5 times as much for the zymol name.....

Wouldnt it be interesting if Zaino, Klasse, NuFinish, Meguiars #20, and Blackfire were all made by the same people??!!!

NO, no rumors. Just a bad joke!

Zaino is made in NY, NU FINISH is made by BEST FOODS, KLASSE is made in some top secret location, because no one really knows, and I don't think any info on Blackfire has been released yet.............

P21S is a carnauba wax made it Germany. A very good product for the price. It will not last as long as Blitz, but it's a bees wax base, and it doesn't leave a white residue when you get it on your trim.

Terry Frieberg at CMA worked on tweaking the formula for about 6 months. They had a problem with streaking on red and black cars. Turned out great. If you want more info on the P21S drop CMA an e-mail, and they can answer your question.

I first used the P21S last year, and was very satisfied. I have since used Souveran and Blitz. The P21S is a good product, and will last almost as long as the Souveran, but not as long as the Blitz. This is just my opinion. The Souveran will give the best shine of all three. You can't go wrong with any of the three products.

And you can apply all three right over your old wax. No problem. Enjoy! :up
