Kind of a follow up thread on P21S.

Here is the turbo I just sold. 12 years old...original paint.

No prep other than GEPC with a PC, followed by hand wax. The pix was taken about 2 weeks after waxing. I don't know if you can see the reflection of the fence...awsome stuff!

As I said earlier, Ferrari due here day before Xmas and will be doing test with P21S only / BFII with P21S / Zaino only.

Will post pix and results by New Years day, hopefully!

thnx BlkZ28

Porsche should always be black, a Ferrari Red...

Period. End of story.

:)

Ya gotta love the P21S!

I just love a well cared for, shiny black car!!! That Porsche looks sweet. I also love P21S on black cars as well.

I look forward to your test pics of your new toy. Wow, what a toy!

I am getting some of the new platinum for Xmas and will post some pics of platinum by it self and with a P21S topper.

Please watch the Platinum section by itself for dust and rain spotting and let us know the difference. I'm interested in seeing if any sealant does any better than P21S on dust, beading, and water spots.

Imagine having prep work like a claybar, and maybe a swirl remover. It would have looked 10 x better, but it still looks great. I use S100, stuff owns.

Wow! I started this thread a long time ago and was surprised to see it come back up.

Yes, GEPC is the P21 polish that goes on before the wax and you can get it from CMA or anyone that carries P21s. One of the best cleaners I have used. Easy on Easy off. Can use my hand or PC and will also remove light swirls. Great Stuff!

As a quick follow up - on the Ferrari that I put Zaino on and did not like -

Have not had time to take off the Zaino, but for the heck of it, tried a quick topper of p21 wax... gotta tell ya...not bad my friends..

In fact, I went down to Shelton Ferrari, the largest dealer in the US, and the lot attendant came up to me and asked me what kind of wax I use!

There might me something to this Zaino thing...will post pix soon.

Nice!

Btw, after applying p21 after Zaino, how would one put on more Zaino layers in the future? I'm thinking this is the method but someone correct me if I'm wrong:

Z7 -> Zaino (however many layers you want) -> P21 to top it

I would also like to know. I've got Zaino on my silver car and looks bloody nice but everyone seems to like P21S/S100 toppers and P21S is also rated highly for silver cars. Been considering a topper but would like to add more Z2 on later. I don't think Z7 would be enough and Z2 won't bond well to wax underneath. My guess would be to either wait 2 months or so before adding Z2 as the P21S/S100, as most carnaubas, would be gone by then in this time frame or to use a mild Dawn wash to strip off the wax without, hopefully, being strong enough to strip off all the Zaino underneath.
