P21S Paint Work Cleanser

Can I use Paint Work Cleanser in place of a clay bar before I SMR/Glaze/Wax? Do I even need such a prep since I'll be SMRing, not just glaze & wax. Of course the first step will be a dawn wash.

Clay is for paint contaminates and over spray removal.



Paint cleaners are for cleaning the paint of oxidation and other cruddy stuff.



SO clean your car and get a little plastic baggy...insert your hand and feel the paint....if it feels bumpy the clay bar will help remove the bumpies....(the plastic baggy helps increase your sense of feel)

Thanks for the info. As for the paint "feel" I know there are small bumps and stuff on the paint...I can feel them w/o a plastic baggy, so I know I need to do something b4 I bust out the PC and SMR or I could make the swirls worse.

if you can feel the bumps with your hands then you need to clay!



I clayed, then used P21S PCL then AIO'd & SG'd for my Klasse application.
