P21s Over Souveran Wax

Getting ready to detail a black BMW and black Tahoe this month. I will receive my Souveran Wax this week and have read and heard that it works great on dark colors. I have only used P21S wax in the past. Would utilizing a coat of P21S over the Souveran enhance the shine or should I stick to just the coat of Souveran? My plan is to wash, clay, polish (Poorboys SSR2.5), Klasse Twins, and then apply the wax of choice. I will of course let the sealant and wax cure the appropriate times.

Thanks for any feedback.

Just try the Souveran, you will be pleased at how it looks on black. It has an edge in wetness as compared to P21S. Looks like you have a good line-up going, good luck.

I would personally just use the Souveran. If your dead set on using both waxes though, I would use P21S first and then spit shine Souveran on top of it.

Just go with the Souveran. Or put a strip of painters tape down the middle of the hood, and see with side shines the best. P21s on 1 side and souveran on the other

I plan to buff twice by hand following each step

1- clay

2- SSR2.5

3- AIO

4- Klasse Sealant/Glaze

5- Souveran

Different strokes for different folks(no pun intended). You should maybe look into high speed buffing for a deeper finish 1st(after claying).

Same here...

I have a PC with micro bonnetts that I could use following the steps but I do not have a rotary for the high speed buff. I fear that I would hurt the paint with a rotary so I will stick with a PC at this time.
