I have compared Autoglym with Zaino. Zaino is better but not by a huge amount but requires more work. Of course Zaino can be layered many many times whereas Autoglym is more limited.
For comparison I did one door with Z and the another with A, the front wing was done with One Grand glaze & Blitz. No one came up to me to ask why different parts of the car had greater or less shine. The wax route had a greater difference than Z or A.
Autoglym can stain but is easily removed with the bumper cleaner - sorry I cannot think of its real name.
As for applications, I feel the longer you leave both Resin and Gloss the better. Gloss really needs a minimum of one hour. CMA have reported you can add the Gloss directly over un-buffed Resin, although I have not tried this, it could save a bit of time. Autoglym in line with other sealants can be topped with wax. I think you should be able to get about 6 months worth of protection from the Autoglym 'twins' especially if layers are used.
For the other Brits here, I have been playing with Comma products - not bad at all, nice and cheap as well.
