P21s GEPC = S100 Shine Enhancing Cleanser?

Can anyone verify that they are one in the same? If so, what are the pro's and con's of this product over something like IHG?

I currently have s100 over IHG which looks great but I am looking for something that may have better cleanser properties than IHG. If you had a black car and a bottle of IHG and s100 cleanser, which would you use?

tia.

They are the same as far as I can tell. You pretty much described the difference between them. The P21S GEPC has cleaner properties, but also leaves a nice glossy finish behind. IHG is simply cosmetic. Your choice would come down to whether or not you want to clean the paint or not. I have never seen GEPC and IHG side by side, so I can't tell you the difference in appearance. If you want a cleaner, Klasse AIO is also a good choice.

Yeah, they are the same. I have a customer who has the P21S version in his garage and it smells and works just like the bottle of S100 SEPC.

If you have black, you may want to use the S100 SEPC, then the IHG and then wax. The SEPC has light cleaning properties and a lot of oils (check out a bottle that has sat on the shelf at a Harley Dealer-you can see a glob of oil at the bottom) so you can micropolish your paint, add the IHG for even more oils and gloss, then seal it all with S100.

Next time I wax my car, I am going over it first with the S100 SEPC, follow with Meguiars Hand Polish (Meguiars equivalent product to IHG), then 2 coats of S100 wax.

Thanks for the responses.

Scottwax, is Meguiars Hand Polish better than IHG? Or is just a matter of what's on hand...

off to the harley dealer to get the s100.

Yep! For me, I mix and match:

S100 SEPC, then

3M IHG or Megs #7, finally

2X S100 or 2X Souverän

It's all good! :xyxthumbs

Dang, do I have to buy that hand polish now? (#M-8132 32 oz?)

This spring I glazed and waxed my silver car as usual but it lacked that special POP. I found out about the S100 Gloss Enhancing Lotion and used it. The shine immediately got the high reflection I wanted and has looked great ever since. Wondered why. Now I know. Looks Like I'll try the same thing this spring. Thanks.

I like Hand Polish more than Show Car Glaze #7, Machine Glaze #3 or 3Ms IHG. HP seems to give a deeper gloss and comes off easier than the other well known glazes.
