P21S - Does More Layers = Longer Lasting?

Does adding additional layers of P21S increase the lenght of time required in between new applications or does it only increase the depth but do nothing for durability?

One other question; Is Meguiar's quick detailer suitable for daily maintenance on top of the P21S?

Your help is appreciated.

I dunno about the layering of P21S, but based on my experieces with other, similar waxes I'd say yes. If you're doing the multiple applications/layers all at once I'd use the spit-shine method.

I'd just apply another coat after every wash, that way you'll at least be keeping one step adhead of the gradual deterioration of the wax. Might not be "layering" to some people, but when you have to go a few washes without waxing it'll hold up a lot better.

I myself wouldn't Qd a 'vette. Someday you'll instill some marring and that clear is pretty tough to correct. I'd just wash it when it needs it and accept that it won't stay perfect.

3 to 4 coats with at least 24 hours in between will help the depth and durability. Then as ACC. said wax every wash and know there will be some marring.

Yes you can QD every day with meguiar's but you have to understand like ACC. said everytime you touch the car with a product you may introduce a little marring. But that is the price to pay for a well dressed out car.
