P21S 100% vs. Swissvax Blau Weiss(for BMW)

Call me crazy, but I've tried quite a few different waxes on my jet black with the same prep and I can tell the difference. Now the difference in appearance is quite obvious between a sealant and a wax (both can look great on jet black with proper prep, but I find sealants give a more "polished" look).



Turtle Wax paste -> P21S 100? I can really tell the difference. Turtle Wax comes across cloudy.



Now, when you compare two top quality waxes, it is tougher to tell, but just like I can see scratches on my car that nobody else can see, I can tell which wax I like better.



Plus, combos matter. I think P21S 100 alone on my jet black is pretty good.



Three properly cured coats of UPGP alone is also pretty good.



UPGP topped with P21S 100 is awesome on my jet black.

Tried UPGP topped with Fuzion and it looked good. Will have to try UPGP topped with P21S 100.

That's exactly my issue... YOU can tell which wax YOU like better on YOUR car... when you use a wax for months, then switch, and everyone around you starts saying wow, are you using a different wax, then we can start to believe this theory... as I said before, yes some waxes do mute metallics, I agree, and some sealants look different than waxes (I almost always notice the difference between KSG and P21S except on some dull gray colors) but the point I'm trying to make is the difference between $30 P21S and $300 Swisswax will be a toss up if left to an unbiased eye

Didn't realize how expensive Swissvax was, after seeing posts on here I always thought yeah that's a nice looking wax, but after seeing the price it's not THAT good! I was expecting a tub to be between $30-80 but its more in the range of $150-300.

Yup, I'll stick with my P21S 100 topping UPGP in that case.



Even if $250 more makes it JUST a TAD better, yet hardly noticeable, it's not worth it.

People will buy what they want, but generally speaking, a 5% 'improvement' with a 1000% price increase makes no sense
