P085RD and PO106FF now available

Man, CMA has more of a split personality than ever. At least before the website said CMA everywhere, now it says Proper Auto Care.com at the top of every page, but the "about us" says CMA....sheesh...

It's great stuff although I had a bear of a time detailing a Mercedes Ceramiclear finish even with it via Cyclo. I'm certain to get the best from them they need to be used via rotary at least on that kind of finish.

Nevertheless, on my hard ,non Ceramiclear Audi finish, spot polishing via PC with a white 4"LC pad, I'd say they can remove about 95% of micromarring and produce an incredible gloss with only one pass! I spot polished and followed up again here and there and was very pleased. Dust build up, as noted earlier with Power Gloss, does occur though.

Looks like CMA has a new web design. I was just there earlier today and everything had the CMA logo...looks more modern.

I mean how much more effective and better results are produced with these polishes over the IP and FPII polishes. I have about Half a bottle of FPII left and about 3/4 IP left. Should I order these new polishes or get the IP and FPII again?

I would focus on the PO85RD. I have yet to get incredible results witht he PO106, but it still works great. The PO85RD will blow the FP II out of the water, IMO. I polished my Aunt's car with the FP II, a few months later when it was time to redo, I used the PO85RD and was blown away! Here are some pics of the PO85RD and FMJ on her car. And the FMJ just brightened up the paint and added some wetness, but the car looked pretty close to the way you see it before the FMJ!

Would like to try the P085RD, but not sure how effective it will be with a Porter Cable...FPII works well with one as it is.

HOLY **** that looks niiiiice. PO85RD looks like my FPII replacement. Did you polish PO85RD with a rotary or PC? Also what kind of pad did you use, Polishing or finishing pad?

I just hit my head against my monitor a couple of times trying to jump into that deep wet finish!!! LOL Seriously that looks awesome!

I produced the above results with a PC. The stuff is better to work with than the FP II. If you like FP II, you will love PO85RD.

Hey Justin, are you the one that has been PMing me about it? I'm sorry I have not gotten back to you, very busy! Still want to order some, PM me!!:D

Also what camera did you use for those pics? .... The pics in general are very clear.

I used the Sony Mavica 5.0. The camera is really an awesome camera. It has a ton of settings, most of which I still am not framiliar with. The pics shown are just on the general pic setting, nothing fancy as far as exposure settings or anything. GSRstilez has a 3.0 model I think, and he knows the settings better than I do and he produces great results with his! Here is a pic and link to it!

Here is the link for information!

I'm undecided as to which of these products to order. Without seeing "before" pictures of your Honda detail, there's no way of knowing the condition of the finish when you started. If the swirling is moderate to heavy, will PO85RD suffice? Could you explain further what you mean by "I have yet to get incredible results with the PO106, but it still works great"? :xyxthumbs
