P0-85rd via PC?

Hey, I was curious if anyone has used Menzerna P0-85rd with the pc? I would like to know workability, swirl removing power, what speed you used, and how much product you used. I read only good things about this product when used with a rotary so I thought I would ask if anyone has used it with a PC.

Thanks for the help

Andrew

PO85RD is a piece of cake used with PC. I use it on #6 with my PC and it works well. I was able to remove light swirls with it, but that's what is expected!

I'm of fan of using it via Cyclo. Regarding the PC, I find it most effective with a 4" pads. Because my paint is hard, if I want to use a PC for paint correction, I pretty much only use the 4" pads ( where the Cyclo can't fit) because the 4" pads eliminate the "jiggle" of the PC and seem to produce more torque and more heat, ( the dual action concentrated in the smaller area of the smaller pad) helping get more effective results.

yeap, i just used it after OP to clean up the haze and leave a good finish, worked great! Polishing pad speed 6 with a little pressure.

03Cobra, how long did you work it in for, did it dust, and how much did you use?

P.S. Anyone know if P0-85rd will remove hazing and swirling left over from IP on the Rotary?

I don't see why it wouldn't, especially if followed bia rotary.

I tried this with an orbital.
It didn't remove anything but the lightest swirls, and this was on soft paint.

I've seen some great results online but haven't been able to replicate them myself yet. I've only tried this product once so the problem likely lies with me.

Iworked it until it started to disappear, but just before. No dust at all. I used maybe an ounce to an ounce and a half. A little goes a very long way. If you have used FP II you know what I'm talking about!!

i too, use po85rd with the 4" pads, although I've used it with 6" pads, and even w/ a microfiber bonnet to clear the haze up from more aggressive polishes.

the cut is very light, imo.
